If you don’t end up with a recommendation, go back to the phone book. Take a look at the ads and look closely at those companies that place a sizable ad, not just the free listing. Keep in mind you should never go for the low ball estimate. It is always best to take the guy who gave you a quote in the mid-range – you’re not paying an arm and a leg, but you’re also not hiring the hobbyist to fix your dryer.
